T. R. King sold more than 4000 of these large crown chips in five colors and denominations to Lee F. Vasquez between 1946 and 1948. Later, ownership of these chips was transferred to Jonny Conway, who ordered an additional 750 chips in 1957.

Lee F. Vasquez was arrested in a gambling raid of an illegal casino at 5667 W Olympic Blvd., LA, CA, in 1949.
